Did You Know Facebook Does Things for You, They Didn’t Before?

The new changes in Facebook are taking some getting used to.  Some are evident, but others are hardly noticeable.
Recent I was checking out what fellow RTV/Dealers were doing, hoping I’d get inspired to do something more.  While I was following the links to check out their businesses and actually see what their website and business Facebook page looks like, I noticed that the current employer link went to a blank page on many.
Sometime back I had built a custom Local Business page for my company powerplaymmp.  Sometimes I use powerplaymmp or powerplaymmp.com or the full name Power Play Multi Media Productions, same thing or different variations.  Anyway the point is on your info tab, Facebook links your current employer to a “Like” page for the exact spelling of your employer.

I changed my current employer to the exact spelling of my custom Local Business page (Power Play Multimedia Productions - powerplaymmp.com) and the link went directly to where I wanted it to.  There was all the bells and whistles I had created.  Still needs work, but at least you could see MY company page on Facebook and not a blank page.

Interesting.  Something you might want to think about.

Are You Ready for 2011?

Another year is a almost gone.  Are you ready for 2011?  How will the New year be better?  How will my business grow?

Looking back over the activities of powerplaymmp.com here in Hillsdale County, Michigan and South Central Michigan, I am truly amazed at how many new products, techniques and tools that have been developed and made available by RTV/Real Tour Vision, our partners in the virtual tour/real estate marketing business.

The High Definition Virtual Tour, an upgrade from our previous presentation, has been a big hit.  The reaction from our customers has been nothing less than awesome.  None of our competitors can come near to the quality and vivid full screen presentations we now have.

The High Definition Full Screen Slide Show, another amazing means of presenting, not only real estate properties, but so many other opportunities, i.e. car dealers, small and even low-end products.
And now RTV is about to release our their 4.0 TMS/Tour Management System.  This step-up will give us the opportunity to work closer with our customers in getting them exactly what they need.  We will be able to building most of their tour at their facility, choose the order of their presentation, select the music and add voice over.  Travel and comunication time will be reduced.  And as we all know, time is money.

So, yes we are look forward to 2011 here at powerplaymmp, to not only save money but to grow it too.

How Cold is IT??

Power Play Multi Media Productions is a representative of RTV/Real Tour Vision, an internet marketing system. ppmmp does virtual tours, SEO and web design. We not only take pictures of real estate, but work with our customers to get the word out. Present yOUR products to as many people as possible on the web.

Right now it is sooooo cold outside, here in South Central Michigan; I dread the thought of going out in the world to work with our customers on promoting their sites. But the internet gives me, my clients and their customers the opportunity to stay in the comfort of their home and make decisions. (I am seriously thinking about a conference call and/or or a web conference).

Real estate photography almost comes to a stand-still at this time of year. Many look at this as a stumbling, but the wise look at it as an opportunity. Now is the time to educate ourselves and put into practice what we will do in the future, when the weather is warm enough to really get outside.

I have always like plan 'B'. If you THINK about it, more than likely, plan 'B' or 'C' usually turn out to be better than plan 'A'. A well thought out decision is work a million dollar$.

The tools offered by RTV go way beyond the basic presentation. The built in features, of both the HD Full Screen Virtual Tour and HD Full Screen Slide Show, help you deliver your tour/slideshow to your favorite social network with just the click of a button.

So now is the time to review RTV and other virtual tour providers and compare, be informed, make your decision. Find out why RTV is considered the largest network of property marketing experts in the world.

Email Campaigns and Gas Prices

Email campaigns are not easy, but used effectively can be a valuable marketing tool.

There are tons and tons of software programs on the net sift through. As Deb Higgins, Crown Point, IN of Four Seasons Virtual Tours, points out in her blog Email Advertisting, it is expected and critical to have your emails “opt-in”. You have to obtain emails from people who agree to let ou send them emails. If not your emails could be considered SPAM. So the best thing to do is start collecting those emails.

Beyond the actual implementation of an actual email campaign, there are several points to consider.

How will my customers benefit from a campaign? As I see it they can only be a good thing. It’s a fantastic way of keeping your customers up-to-date with what’s happening with virtual tours and your businesses, giving them information in a timely manner, and see that they get special announcements.

How will I benefit from an email campaign? Not only will they save time, energy and money but they will no doubtedly help to increase sales.

Will I maintain my campaign myself, farm it out or use one of the million software programs that bombard your email box every day? This is a personal preference type answer. But you need to consider:
· Your time in maintaining your email list?
· How personal do you want your campaign to be,?
· Will you do followups and when?
· Will I need reports showing how effective my efforts are?
· What type of email campaign will I use, quick announcement, newsletter, press release and as a broucher listing specials?

It all boils down to “Should I do an email campaign or not?”.

What about gas prices? They’re nearly at $4.00 per gallon in South Central Michigan. L
