HOW DOES SHE DO IT?

"17 Year Old Southgate, MI Teenager is MILLIONAIRE though here efforts on the net" - National New - Robin & Friends CNN September 21, 2007

Being 17 years old and working the web, this young lady has done what we all dream and wish we could. The secret seems to be WORK and getting commercial advertising.

Did she do it by herself? No, again the keyword is NETWORKING. Using the demographics that she used for her site can it be done by others. TEENS, one of the largest buying groups on and off the web, seem to be her primary target.

What do you think? Is it your product? Or is the marketing? What sets your product apart from the rest? Do you hear the words "If only some one knew about my product/service, it would sell itself"?

Take a chance, market on the web. Get an expert to help.

REAL TIME SITE CONTENT

The trend today is TODAY. What is happening NOW? Yesterday's news is history. Keeping your site fresh is one reason for your visitors/potential customer to come back to your site.

Not only current events, but relative information. Courtesy in limiting your information to pertinent knowledge of your product. This is essential in keeping your customers, not just anyone coming to your site.

With that said . . . below are some HAPPENING SITES. See what I mean, check them out. Then again you probably already know about most them.

Web Designers/Developers and Competition

Many competitors, be it musicians, web designers, developers, or marketing experts have a hard-time sharing information. Why? Be it selfishness or just guarding "trade secrets", there are ways to communicate with others in a manner that not only gives information and guidance, but also protects what is yours.

When a person or group trys to create a monopoly, it is only a manner of time before their efforts are useless.

Most recently the efforts of the group of anonymous software developers in Los Angeles
(see http://edition.cnn.com/2007/TECH/09/01/apple.iphone/)
who presented an interface that allows iPhone owners to use their device with other phone systems and not just AT&T, showed how useless and counter productive fear of the competition can be.
